KOSMONIC

Once a lead vocalist and guitarist for the Nashville alternative rock band Our Vintage Film, Adam Swink was forever transformed through a direct UAP experience in 2015. After not one, but three of these close encounters, this confirmed for the once skeptical Swink without a shadow of doubt: we are not alone. His view of the universe was forever changed and thus, the electronic 80’s-inspired sound of Kosmonic was born. After relocating from Nashville to work in the recording industry at The House of Rock studios in Santa Monica, California, Swink landed in Colorado to prepare Kosmonic to soar.

Inspired by a mix of music from Stanger Things (Survive) to Daft Punk’s collaborations with The Weeknd, Kosmonic embodies a darker cinematic sound that takes you on a voyage through the cosmos, beyond the limitations of the five senses and our anthropocentric veneer. Delving into lyrical concepts of the afterlife, Swink explores the possibilities that maybe we’re all made of star dust, and maybe extraterrestrials walk among us. Within his material Swink also exposes black covert military projects hoarding reversed engineered ET craft, but the spacious retrowave pop songs of Kosmonic are truly about reaching for the stars, rather than defining them.

Kosmonic is a solo endeavor conceptualized, written, produced, mixed, and mastered by Adam Swink. The debut album, single, and accompanying music video will arrive soon through Underflow Records.
